Best time to buy TVs: what our data shows

  • 7% of the TVs products we have recorded on 3 or more days changed price at least once since we started tracking them.
  • 96% are at (or level with) the lowest price we have recorded for them right now.
  • 3% are more than 3% below the highest price we recorded, by 13% on average.
  • Of the products showing a retailer “was” price, 97% show a was-price higher than anything we have recorded (among those recorded on 3+ days). Our records only go back to 13 Oct 2026, so this is not proof the was-price is false.

General UK retail calendar (not our data): New TV ranges are usually announced in spring, so the outgoing year’s models are often reduced from late spring onwards and again around Black Friday.

Figures recalculated at every build from our own daily records up to 26 Oct 2026. Short histories can't show seasonal patterns yet; we'll add them as our records grow. The practical rule: check the price history before you buy, whatever the date.
